- Dronetype depends on what you're doing and to whom. If you're doing missions then you'll want to use Warriors and Valks against Angels and the likes and Hobgoblins and Hammers against "everything else".

Shield drones have no real use as you can't target yourself, so you might be able to shield rep one of your own drones... not very useful.

- 800s I would use 2 groups of 4, their ROF is fast enough to no warrant making more groups.

- swapping to arties if you know it's a long range fight is logical, do realise that arties require different rigs (and possibly fitting) so it might work subpar.

- T2 resists are better than T1. T2 turrets benefit from the turret spec skill but that's not a whole lot as it's only 2% per lvl and no sane person ever takes it to 5 (unless he has nothing else to train for). So very much yes on the resists and ultimately yes on the turrets. Thing is that the Mael's tank is strong enough to get away with T1 stuff and you'll do just fine with T1 guns, just make sure you use meta 4.


All in all, here's a fit showing you how an AC Mael could look so you have an idea. Rigs will always be a point of discussion ofcourse.
